Danish Butter Cookies- Book Sneak Peak!

Oh My Cookies!! Have I mentioned I love cookies? I do, I really, really do! Butter cookies have been a staple at our house at Christmas time since I was little. Dad makes sure to always supply his kids with very large tins of butter cookies on Christmas Eve. My kids and hubby love them! I, on the other hand, am kind of a cookie snob. If I am going to eat a butter cookie THIS is the one I want to eat. The butter, the sugar, the almonds- yum! This little cookie is crispy yet melts in your mouth. It is Delicious with a cup of something (anything really) warm. Easy to make, and they keep in an airtight container for years. Just kidding- but for a really long time. Will they last that long? Yeah right!!
Ahhh, it's a beautiful thing. Too bad they don't last long at my house.
Be patient! The recipe will be featured in my book.

What kind of a cookie cutter? Is there a specific place that you get them from?

You can use any kind of cookie cutter. My sister found an adorable set that has a pretzel shaped cutter that would be a perfect match to the cookies that come in the tins.
