Book Proposal Submitted!

Oh my goodness I am so excited! I just submitted my Scandinavian Christmas Craft book to the publisher. Keeping fingers crossed that I get picked up. It has been such a busy few months. It has taken me 3 months from inception to submission and it has been a whirlwind! Lots of 2:00 am bedtimes, trips to and from the craft store and numerous baking sessions. My mind has not been quiet since July! I have to say that the most stressful part of the whole process has been getting good photographs to send in with the proposal. A photographer I am not! Some of them turned out quite lovely I must say. It feels so amazing to be submitted. Amanda is coming home from South Korea for a month long visit tomorrow and bringing Miss Avery Mae- my first grand baby. I am so excited to be able to relax and spend my little pumpkins first Halloween with her. And Amanda will be here for her 27th birthday- bonus!!! Today I am feeling blessed. And relieved!
Scandinavian Brunkake cookies are crispy, lovely little brown cookies. The recipe will be featured in my book. Easy to make and delicious with a cup of glogg (also featured). Cut from antique Swedish cookie cutters by a half Dane- truly authentic!

I love the twine, who would have thought you could wrap it around cookies! Good luck on your book, can't wait for it to be published.
