It's not too early for Halloween!!

Oh my heck! It's Fall in Utah. Officially! How do I know? The mountains are speckled with orange, we have made our first pumpkin treat and my decorations are up! I am so ready. I have been working on Christmas crafts since I decided to write my Scandinavian Christmas craft book. I can honestly say that for the first time in my life I am burned out on Christmas crafts. And before Halloween has even arrived. It truly is a first! I am sure that once I get my proposal sent off to the publisher, have had a moment's break from red, red, red, and see that beautiful white powder on the ground I will get excited. I love this time of the year. I have always loved Fall. It is such a great time to be in Utah. There are so many fun things to do, the earth is gorgeous and there are always so many delicious smells. I'm sure that I mentioned how hard it was to get rid of all of my smelly candles- especially around the holidays. This year I have made up a bunch of room sprays and some perfumes (Yikes- is that me that smells like spiced cider?!) This one smells just liked spiced gumdrops! It is amazing!! The black pepper and cloves essential oils give it the spicy smell. My favorite Halloween movie of all time is "Hocus Pocus". I absolutely adore it! It makes me laugh every time I watch it and it reminds me of when my kids were young and we would cuddle on the couch and watch it. For 2 whole hours it didn't matter if the house was dirty or there was piled up laundry. Time stood still. Hopefully I will be able to sit and cuddle my first grand baby, Avery Mae,  and share my favorite Halloween movie with her someday.
Hocus Pocus room spray- YUM!!
Sister gave me this cute lantern this year.
This bulletin board was so fun and easy to make. I think I'll do one for Christmas!
I had these adorable vintage replica postcards to use on the bulletin. The flower is glued to a tack.
A little of this of this and a little of that .

Orange- 3 drops
Cinnamon bark- 1 drop
