Essential oil perfume

When I started looking at how harmful modern cosmetics and beauty products were I decided I needed to throw away some things. And by some I mean almost everything. I was beyond shocked at how many harmful ingredients are in a gal's bathroom. Most items I have been able to replace with healthier ones. One of the last, lingering items was perfume. All of my chemical laced stuff went bye bye about a year ago and I began making solid perfume from bees wax, vitamin E oil, almond oil, and essential oils, but I wanted something.... more. So I have been mixing different oils in an attempt to get some nice smelling scents that I can put in roller, and spray bottles. I have combed the Internet to find recipes and mixed up some of my own. I have to say- it has been FUN! I have about 75 essential oils that I can play with. That has made my quest to smell good a whole lot easier for me! I am waiting on my East Indian Sandalwood and have my eye on some Rose Otto as well. It was hard to give up my lovely smelling perfumes but who wants to smell like chemicals when you can smell like roses or lavender?? Below are 4 scent combinations to get you started. I'll post more later. I think these smell wonderful, but everyone's sniffer is different. Keep that in mind!

IMPORTANT!! Not all essential oils are safe for use while pregnant!! Do not use an essential oil unless you know it is safe to use during pregnancy.
Educate yourself before using essential oils on your skin as some are photo toxic (think citrus oils), and should be avoided before sun exposure.

Note: I use fractionated coconut oil or jojoba oil in my roller bottle perfumes.
Each number after the oil indicates how many drops to use in each blend.

Drop essential oils into a 1/3 oz. roller bottle and fill the rest of the way up with coconut oil. Leave enough room at the top for the roller ball to be inserted and for the perfume to breathe. Or- drop essential oils into a 4 oz. glass spray bottle and fill the rest of the way up with Vodka. You will need to add more essential oil to the spray bottles as they are much larger than the roller bottles.
Gently shake the bottle to mix the oils. Let it rest, away from sunlight, for about 48 hours before using.
