Banana Ice Cream-YUM!

Who doesn't love ice cream? Our favorite healthy treat is a concoction of frozen bananas and almond milk pureed in the mixer until smooth and creamy. It really is like eating soft serve ice cream. My kids beg me to make it for them. I have also frozen it in Popsicle makers. There are so many good alternatives to unhealthy treats. It takes some time finding good, guilt free recipes but when I find one I like I just have to share! Been juicing for about 2 weeks now and really watching what I eat. I am sticking to whole foods, not overfilling my tummy, exercising at least 45 minutes a day, drinking lots of water and eating to live, not living to eat. I am down about 5 lbs. now and I feel great! I have a ton of energy, sleep like a baby, go to bed guilt free (that one is HUGE) and my plumbing is working again. Ewwww, TMI? Just one of the many perks of juicing and eating real food. I will share the recipe for the banana ice cream.
Banana Ice Cream
3 bananas- Sliced and frozen
6-8 Tbsp Unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Put bananas and almond milk in a blender and process until smooth and creamy. You may need to add a little more almond milk to really get the ice cream moving depending on what size bananas you use. Freeze any unused ice cream in Dixie cups with Popsicle sticks to make Popsicles.
